Merlion in an enchanting animation feature and discover what fortune
lies in store for you at the mouth of the Mercubs. Experience the

of a lifetime!
The biggest replica of Singapore’s most enduring symbol is to be
found right here. The Merlion – half-lion, half-fish – on Sentosa is
37 metres high and has 320 scales sculpted from glass-reinforced
concrete. By night, these scales are a sight to behold as they glow
in different colours. Take the lift to the top floor and be rewarded
with a 360° view of Sentosa and Singapore’s southern shores. From
the Mouth Gallery Viewing Deck on level 9, you can even spot
Singapore’s impressive skyline.
When you’re done gazing at the splendid views, head out the back and
stroll down the Merlion Walk, a 120-metre-long Gaudi-inspired mosaic

Trapeze
The first of its kind in Singapore, the Flying Trapeze aims to
set the scene for more excitement and fun for the guests and
visitors to Sentosa. This magnificent activity will provide for both
audience participation and fantastic entertainment. Three
instructors from Singapore and Malaysia assist visitors in "flying"
across the trapeze. The trapeze, they say, is not only an excellent
form of sports and recreation but it also helps develop one’s mind,
body and coordination. There will also be thrills aplenty on the
ground watching family and friends conquer their fear of heights!

acrylic tunnel. All around you, sharks, stingrays, eels and schools
of fish glide past – engrossed in their own world. For those who
don’t mind getting wet, interactive programmes such as ‘Dive with
the Sharks’ or ‘Dive with the Dugong’ are available upon advance
booking.

show in the centre of the earth. Have a hell-lava time at
VolcanoLand, Asia’s largest man made volcano where visitors will
embark on an adventure journey to discover a mysterious lost city of
the Mayan and explore the depths of the volcano. Highlights of the
attraction include a subterranean journey to the ‘earth’s core’. You
will uncover an Archaeological Dig, stumble through a Creepy
Corridor and discover the Expedition Headquarter of Professor Hugo
where he will reveal his last message.
You will take the Professor’s lead to ‘descend’ into the bowels of
the earth in a ‘pit cage’, venture across subterranean waterfalls,
ancient fossils and pre-historic bones, sparkling minerals and
crystals formations and then cross a rickety rope bridge to reach a
timeless world where you will experience a multi-sensory show on the
story of the universe and close encounter with the King of Fire and
culminating in a volcanic eruption!
Animal & Bird Encounters
Intelligence, agility, and responsiveness are just some of the
qualities our animal friends will demonstrate in this daily show at
Siloso Beach. Monkeys and peacocks all get into the act — what will
they think of next! Also be dazzled by the colors and plumage of the
beautiful parrots and macaws as they take centrestage in this
interactive display.
Sentosa Beaches
Beach devotees and seasports fans have known about it for some
time now: Sentosa boasts three of the finest beaches this side of
Singapore. With beachfronts 30m wide, dazzling landscaping features,
clean waters and soft sands, Tanjong, Siloso and Palawan Beach have
attracted a loyal following amongst water-lovers with diverse
interests.
Tanjong Beach, the quietest stretch at the eastern end of the
island, is a favorite with families who treasure its tranquility and
solitude. Here, armed with your favorite book, you can while away
the hours with the sun and a gentle breeze for company. This stretch
of beach gets especially romantic by night, with the twinkling
lights of ships docked at the nearby port.
On the eastern end is Palawan Beach, where a suspension bridge links
beach-goers to what is believed to be the Southernmost Point of
Continental Asia, or Asia’s closest point to the Equator.
For those who like their day at the beach more strenuous and
vigorous, Siloso Beach is the unofficial home of beach volleyball
enthusiasts who congregate here for their game. Then drop by the new
retail/F&B outlets along Siloso Beach for a refreshing ice cream,
drinks, yummy sushi or some trendy beach gear. You'll be spoilt for
choice at COASTES, Sakae Sushi, New Zealand Natural Ice Cream,
Billabong and Island Life Shop. If you’re in time for the daily
Animal and Bird Encounters on this stretch of beach, be sure to
include it in your itinerary.
Other beach/water activities to engage in include beach soccer,
basketball, kayaking, roller-blading and cycling. Don’t fret if you
didn’t pack your rollerblades or bicycle. There’s plenty to choose
from at the rental kiosks located along Siloso and Palawan Beach.
